Laura Lee Cascada is a writer and advocate based out of Virginia. She has a master’s degree in environmental policy from the Johns Hopkins University and has worked at nonprofits to protect animals and our world, including in her current role as a Corporate Campaigns Manager with Compassion Over Killing. Laura also runs The Every Animal Project, a collection of photographs and awe-inspiring stories of animals around the globe. She spends her free time working on her debut novel, advocating for imperiled hermit crabs, managing marketing and PR for the annual Hampton Roads VegFest, crafting porcine-themed accessories, traveling the globe in search of waterfalls, eating copious amounts of avocados, and caring for her furry/scaly/hooved family members.
