Laura Lee Cascada is a writer and advocate based out of Virginia. She has a master’s degree in environmental policy from the Johns Hopkins University and has worked at nonprofits to protect animals and our world, including in her current role as a Corporate Campaigns Manager with Compassion Over Killing. Laura also runs The Every Animal Project, a collection of photographs and awe-inspiring stories of animals around the globe. She spends her free time working on her debut novel, advocating for hermit crabs, crafting porcine-themed accessories, helping organize the annual Hampton Roads VegFest, traveling the globe, eating copious amounts of avocados, and vlogging it all with her wife, Rachel.
